MJ Embroidery is a Brisbane-based personalised embroidery studio specialising in meaningful bridal pieces, with a focus on custom wedding veil embroidery. MJ Embroidery does not sell or manufacture wedding veils. Instead, we provide a delicate, bespoke embroidery service for the veil you have chosen. Whether you purchased it from a bridal boutique, ordered it online, or are wearing an inherited family piece, we work with intention to turn fine tulle into an intimate, cherished heirloom.

MJ Embroidery does not sell wedding veils. We provide a bespoke personalisation service for a veil supplied by you. Whether you purchased your veil from a bridal boutique, online, or are wearing an inherited family heirloom—already have your veil? We make it yours.
What can I have embroidered on my veil?
You can personalize your veil with couple initials, full names, wedding dates (in classic or Roman numerals), meaningful words, vow excerpts, or authentic handwritten messages from a loved one.
Can my veil be embroidered?
We carefully assess your veil's fabric, construction and the placement you have in mind before confirming the design. Because every veil is different, we recommend sending us a few details or photographs during your enquiry so we can discuss what is suitable.
How do you test and care for my veil before embroidering?
Before embroidery, we carefully assess your veil fabric and construction to confirm suitability. We create a digital mockup for your review and run a test embroidery on similar bridal fabric before touching your real veil. Upon receiving your veil, we photograph and document its condition for complete peace of mind.
What is your deposit and payment policy?
A 30–50% non-refundable deposit is required once your design is confirmed. This reserves your studio production slot and covers custom digitisation. The remaining balance is payable when your physical veil arrives and the test stitch proof is approved.
How does the handwritten message service work?
You supply a photograph or scan of real handwriting from your partner, mother, father, grandparent, or meaningful person. We digitise their exact handwriting stroke-by-stroke and embroider it onto your veil so you carry their handwritten words forever.
What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround times for our Founding Bride collection are estimated at 3–5 business days for Essential, 5–7 business days for Signature, and 7–10 business days for Heirloom. Priority rush orders (48–72 hours) may be accommodated subject to studio capacity.
